Center for Media Ethics and Dialogue (CEMETIK) is a non-profit research and training team at the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University. Our goal is to support socially responsible journalism, value-oriented development of media professionals, and provide support for media organizations and institutions in value-oriented management and social dialogue. We want to employ research on media ethics to make a profound impact on the media community, especially through expert analysis and consultation, training and accessible self-study.

We were founded in 2021, and even though we are just beginning, we have a lot to build on. We participate in the research project EU Horizon 2020 MEDIAdelcom – Finding risks and opportunities for European media landscapes.
